About Our Meetings

Our meetings are informal gatherings where we discuss breastfeeding and mothering issues. Some mothers find that they are nervous about coming to one of our meeting for the first time. They are usually worried that everyone will know each other and be good friends. We usually have a few new faces at our meetings, and those new faces usually come back again because they find the friendly atmosphere and being able to talk about their baby (even the dirty nappies and sleepless nights) with everyone understanding how they are feeling.
So, if you are thinking of coming or need contact with other mothers, please attend. I’m sure you will find friendly faces and feel welcome, and want to come back again and again.
To attend just turn up or phone Kate prior to the meeting if you have any questions or need directions.
Tea and coffee will be provided. A small plate of morning tea would be appreciated if you have time. If you find you don’t have anything to bring, please come along anyway, as it is more important for you to come. Please don’t worry if you are late, just be proud you made it! Babies and children are welcome at our meetings, as are your partner, mother or friend.
